Subject: Problems installing ports...

I have installed 3.1-R from cdrom, and upgraded to 3.1-Stable through cvsup,
etc...

When attempting to build/install a port, I cd /usr/ports/whatever and
do "make install". The "fetch" program starts, but then hangs and goes
nowhere. this happened on the 3.1-R as well as the 3.1-Stable.

In the end, I have to ftp the file manually. So far, I've gotten a port
to install correctly only ONCE (I forget which one it was). All the others
I had to ftp manually, *then* run make install...

Any ideas?
