Trying to install libffi from ports says that it is not availble on amd64. Compiling gcc 3.4 from ports also does not install libffi. The latter puzzles me as a commit was made to gcc to add support on the 7th Of June. http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2004-06/msg00354.html Currently I am unsure as to how to get a working libffi on the system.
