whoops. anyone still remember this one?

hangs in the boot time occasionally.

i pathed my machine with the committed path and reported the above.

now, i today learned some of those 9 machines still hang every now
and then. one apparently "too often".

now, justin or anyone else, is there any new information about
this issue?

the board was Asus P2B-DS.  :\

last i heard justin said there's a chip-bug. did adaptec ever comment it?

the issue is pretty serious to me since there was a pressure on me to
linuxise those machines, which i wont do...
