If you also specify a date, then > you get RELENG_4 for that date. thanks, I'll try. but as I remember me, I've try to specified both -r RELENG_4 and -D some date in the past w/o success. and -D alone would refer to -current and remove the RELENG_4 tag in CVS/{Entries,Tag}. for instance, I'm running the GENERIC kernel w/o crash for a few hours while my CUSTOM kernel crash in less than one hour ! this allow me to do a cvsup and to build a new kernel. things which where not possible w/ my CUSTOM kernel while I don't made any change for months. I'll try it this evening. in attachement, you'll find two dmesg (GENERIC and CUSTOM), my CUSTOM kernel configuration and the last backtrace.
