Run "man swat" and it will tell you the lines you need to add to get it to work. If you already did that and rebooted, I hope someone else has other ideas. Good luck! F. PS: Here it is Setting up swat: Edit /etc/services to activate swat port: swat 901/tcp #Samba web administration tool. Edit /etc/inetd.conf: # Samba web administration tool swat stream tcp nowait.400 root /usr/local/sbin/swat swat Samba can now be configured using a web browser by going to http://localhost:901/ and logging-in as root. I got it from http://www.mostgraveconcern.com/freebsd/ Section Samba SMB server, check it out. -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Siwei Liu Sent: Monday, October 30, 2000 5:46 PM To: questions@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: problem with swat of Samba 2.0.7 I do all the things that the docs say, but I still cann't use http://localhost:901 to use swat to config samba config file.
