Ahem.  You're replying to the person who _wrote_ the scripts that
automatically create those INDEX files that everyone is downloading,
you know :-)

This particular message was generated automatically by that script and
is issued as a sanity check.  Whenever it creates output, it means that
some committer has made a mistake.

In summary, thanks for the help but this email is a feature, not a bug :-)
