Hi:

Does anyone know why or how badly direct DMA mode is not

working in fxtv-1.02 with XFree86-4.01 and 4.0-RELEASE using TrueType visual?

I built straight out of /usr/ports/ and in direct DMA mode, I get a blank (black)
screen and audio. 

When I select a menu button (and hold down mouse), video capture starts, but
with SHM images.  

If I let go, video capture mode switches to direct again, but capture STOP.

This worked fine with fxtv-0.48 and XFree86-3.3.6

Anything I can do to help/troubleshoot this further?

Is there a newer version of fxtv?
