Given the recent discussion about the lack of books that make Unix easy for
newbies, I thought I'd mention a book I found three weeks ago at our local
college library:

Unix Shell Programming, Revised Edition, by Stephen G. Kochan and Patrick
H. Wood.

Despite its title, this book is the easiest to read introduction to various
Unix commands I have seen so far.

Cheers,
Adam
