My searches of the FreeBSD web page haven't turned up any info. I have found the /usr/share/examples/kld directories but was hoping for a little more. Thanks, Chris PS- on a side note when I try and load a LKM under 3.1-RELEASE I get the following error: #make load /sbin/modload -o vlc_mod -evlc_mod vlc_mod.o modload: /dev/lkm: Device not configured *** Error code 3 The /dev/lkm device exists, what is the problem here.
