As the HD is pretty cheap, I've started to wonder if buying another one to setup RAID-0 stripe would be any sense. What do you think? Mobo is ASUS A7V600 (with VIA 8237 UDMA 133 controller); I generally use this box to do some development (which includes building sometimes large quantities of packages from source); I really appreciate comments from users FreeBSD, that tried similar configurations (raid-0 on ide).
