One more question, can I use an Iomega USB > ZipCD-R/RW Drive with FreeBSD 4.0. If not can I rebuild the Kernal to support > it? You have an old port tree and it is trying to install kde-1.1. You probably won't be able to find the dist-tarballs of kde-1.1. The package files should be on /packages/All. You will find some of the port source files or pre-compiled packages in one of the directories under ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/ Mounting the W2K partition is easy. You just do something like mount_ntfs /dev/ad0s5 /mnt I mount ad0s5 because I am trying to mount the first logical partition on my 1st HD. It will be read-only. My 1st primary partition is Fat32 and I mount_msdos /dev/ad0s1 /mnt I don't have a clue on the USB ZipCD and would have to spend time reading the kernel config file.
