What versions of BSD are available? The phrase '/Mac OS//® X' appears three times. The first can/should change to '/OS X®'. Second and subsequent appearances on the same page need not bear the ®. The second appearance refers to <*http://www.apple.com/macosx/server/*> which was not a home page for Mac OS X, and is not a home for OS X. Instead, for OS X please use: <http://www.apple.com/osx/> The word 'Darwin' appears twice. The first refers to <http://developer.apple.com/darwin/>, which redirects to <https://developer.apple.com/opensource/> with no mention of Darwin. <http://web.archive.org/web/20080705164305/http://developer.apple.com/Darwin> suggests that the Darwin-specific URL was last used by Apple some time in 2008. At <http://opensource.apple.com/> Apple uses the phrase 'Darwin Technologies' to refer to <https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#documentation/MacOSX/Conceptual/OSX_Technology_Overview/SystemTechnology/SystemTechnology.html>. That page begins with 'Kernel and Device Drivers Layer', which puts BSD in context (the word Darwin appears later). At <http://www.apple.com/legal/intellectual-property/trademark/appletmlist.html> Mac OS X is not listed as a trademark, but that list is non-exhaustive. OS X® is listed.
