Can you try again with newer > kernel sources? OK, recompiled the sources from last night (nov 30 22:00 UTC). That's newer than the sources that were panicing early sunday morning. With option SMP it still panics immediately. Without it runs fine (as I'm typing this now). I've attached (1) dmesg output. #5 is the without-SMP. #6 is with SMP (I don't really know how or why it's in the dmesg output after a panic and reboot) (2) the kernel config file I'm building from. Let's see what an even newer cvsup yields (dec 1 18:30 UTC) .. -- pub 1024D/FEA2A3FE 2002-06-18 Adriaan de Groot If the door is ajar, can we fill it with door-jamb? --Boundary-00=_Eh4y//p6BLB2nSk Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"; name="dmesg" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="dmesg" Copyright (c) 1992-2003 The FreeBSD Project.
