In Solaris there is a root filesystem called /net. This filesystem (I believe) is taken control of by AMD and when you give it the command: /net/hostname.... It attempts to mount all shared filesystems from that hosts or you could just type: /net/hostname/cdrom/cdrom0 to mount the /cdrom/cdrom0 fs from that hostname. Would this be something that would liked to be seen on freebsd. It seems that recently I've been trying to implement a few features found in other (Solaris' etc) Unix operating systems.
