This new one follows the chronological order of events to the letter. "First, send mail to &a.portmgr; with the repo copy request listing the reasons for it. Next, if &a.portmgr; approves it, &a.cvs; will do a repository copy from the old location/name to the new location/name. You will then receive a notice, at which point you are expected to perform the following:" A couple of observations: 1) the 1st 'repo copy' element is used as an abbreviation since we call this a 'repo copy' request. It's part of the FreeBSD committers lexicon as it is. :) 2) the 2nd 'repository copy' element is not used as an abbreviation since cvs will perform a repository copy. That's the real deal. :) 3) 'location/name' is being used for historical reasons. Sometimes, a port is moved around the ports tree to a new location (new category); sometimes, it is just renamed (copied to a new name in the same category). It is a bit big but informational.
