And after mucking about for a while this past week after installing the port,
but having troubles with it, I discovered that I could do...

# /usr/local/bin/use.perl port

or

# /usr/local/bin/use.perl system

To switch between the two. Not sure if there's any downside to doing that,
but it worked for me.
