https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D220626 Bug ID: 220626 Summary: emulators/virtualbox-ose-additions causes panic on 11.1-RC2 Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: vbox@FreeBSD.org Reporter: craig001@lerwick.hopto.org Assignee: vbox@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(vbox@FreeBSD.org) Virtual FreeBSD 11.1-RC2 instance is panic's and reboots when guest addition tools are installed and enabled in rc.conf Ubuntu 16.04 host, running virtualbox 5.0.40_Ubuntu with FreeBSD-11.1-RC2-amd64.vmdk backed guest. Havn't been able to capture the panic as guest reboots straight away. I can reproduce the panic by; * creating a FreeBSD instance in the VirtualBox Manager, using existing disk from the FreeBSD-11.1-RC2-amd64.vmdk image. * once up and running use pkg to pull in virtualbox-ose-additions-5.1.22_1= =20 * enable both vboxguest and vboxservice in /etc/rc.conf * reboot --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
