I've yet to find a way to do this myself. I *MUCH* prefer my Windows/OS-2 client (OpenCHAT) to IRCII, or many of the other IRC clients available to FBSD. However, you require what is called a proxy identd. There are *TONS* of them outhere for Linux (oidentd, midentd, etc, etc) which compile and run find on FBSD, but do not offer the Masq'in/proxying support you require for your client machines. And you'd have to run identd on your Mac - most likely, its built into your IRC client. This is a problem these days because 98% of the servers on EFNET now require you to identd yourself. If you happen to find a solution (or more precisely, someone willing to port one of the afore mentioned apps) *LET* me know!
