I have been using FreeBSD for quite a bit of time after moving from Linux. I also started up on some Unix programming, and I found DDD to be an excellent debugging tool! When I ran it for Linux, it worked great.... and I had access to the motif statically compiled lib for 'stability' and the 'best' results. I tried your port, and it was done very well... it compiled perfectly and all. However, I have been getting intermittent problems where it says an X integer is out of range and such when I am using the program for a little while. I know it is not your responsibility to help me debug or fix this, but I feel it is somewhat connected to Lesstif + ELF + 3.1 Stable + XFree86 3.3.3.1 ELF. Do you, by any chance, have motif 2.0 ELF FreeBSD libs? If so, could you help me package a ddd 3.1.3 elf? I noticed there is no other package out there. And... I tried to use the linux emulator, using brandelf -t Linux; linux; the the binary itself, but it core dumps. I even did a truss trace.... and I noticed some functions were not implemented or such. If you could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated! If you feel that this problem is isolated (If you use lesstif .87, elf, 3.1 stable + xfree86 3.3.3.1 elf and you do not have these problems), could you tell me? That way I know I can take some measures to try to fix up my system to get it working 100%.
