I am new to freebsd. I installed freebsd from virtualbox on windows 10 using the downloaded ISO image and is working fine. Freebsd is now booting independently (not from virtual box) from the separate SSD as it is installed on a separate entire disk. My details about Openoffice-4 build My system configuration - Lenovo G50-70 laptop with i7 processor, 1tb hdd, 500gb SSD (DVD DRIVE replaced with ssd in which freebsd is installed), 16gb RAM FREEBSD swap 3.8gb Internet connection - 4g wifi (Ooredoo - Qatar) (wifi is not configured, so using a rj45 connection from a wifi extender) 'make' started at 23/04/2016 20.30hrs and finished successfully at 01.45hrs 24/04/2016 (5hrs 15 mins) I found the make used up to 13.5gb of RAM without using swap. The installation is working fine. I don't know how to give more details regarding installation. Regards, Bobby Jacob *Office in Charge* *Al Ansari & Partners Trading Co., W.L.L.* P.O.
