An error message would be kind of helpfull.  Also, what version of
FreeBSD?

But yes, the port is fairly sensitive to older versions of it's
dependencies, although these should have been worked out in the current
port.  If you're really having problems then uninstall the following:
	imlib
	gtk12
	ORBit
	glib12
	gettext
	esound
	libaudiofile
	libghttp
