Is that Netbios over TCP/IP you're referring to? If so, then in the section called Advanced TCP/IP Settings under Local Area Connection Properties has "Enable TCP/IP over Netbios" radio button ticked / enabled. Its proving very difficult to understand what the procedure is for running samba on FreeBSD as a PDC in this (Win2K Clients) situation. Not a lot of *BSD-related docs out there, and most of the =A3inux ones refer to a samba 2.0.x I *think* I've got things set up okay of the FBSD box, but cannot seem to get Win2K to play nice.
