pkg version -v

Packages were upgraded to latest with 'pkg upgrade' and sox and its
dependencies were reinstalled with 'pkg install -f'.

To build with debugging symbols, I issued 'portsnap auto' and temporarily
placed the following in /etc/make.conf (otherwise empty):

WITH_DEBUG_PORTS=3D       audio/sox audio/libmad
DEBUG_FLAGS=3D    -g -O0
