Do I get it right tht you want to use serial terminals on a FreeBSD box?
In this case you need a getty on the BSD side (define the serial port
in /etc/ttys, look for /dev/tty00 or something like) and a simple terminal
emulation program on the other side. But in this case you'll get a login prompt.
