As Hannu (author) said, version which we currently have broken
in several places and they fixed in v3.0. I think we need go to v3.0
instead of hacking broken code.
Compatibility:
Hannu said: "only source level compatibility". This one ioctl
is only small piece, there is many incompatible places,
old binaries must be definitely re-compiled.
