this is what i did
made a kernel without the em driver
	started testing with different if_em.ko
		1.1.10
		1.2.7
		1.3.8

two problems i have:
	1- diskless booting
	2- non-diskless but use dhcp.

after compiling the new kernel - i had done a cvsup earlier - problem 1
disappeared - well, sort off, it gets stuck later on with nfs server not
responding, but after a few minutes it's ok.

problem 2 is still there,
	1.1.10 works ok
	1.2.7 fails
	1.3.8 fails
