I have multiple 82541PI controllers, sold as "PRO/1000 GT" cards, that exhibit the same behavior with Netgear GS105v3 switches (I tested two). More specifically, they take a very long time to auto-negotiate, and when they do, the media is 10BaseT. Manually setting media to something faster results in no carrier.
