FreeBSD 14.0-RELEASE includes the LIBPTHREAD_UMTX_MIN_TIMEOUT per-process
tunable, and setting it like LIBPTHREAD_UMTX_MIN_TIMEOUT=3D10000000 before =
the
java command to start a Minecraft server for example, greatly improves power
efficiency. It is working great now.
