I know I'm joining in *really* late (just got back from a month's
vacation), but someone mentioned that this problem seems to be
associated with "green" CPU's. I run three "non-green" Intel CPU's
and one power-saving "green" AMD CPU (all are 486's). Only the AMD
machine has the hung reboot problem. Even the fallback to the
"keyboard BIOS reset" (?) fails.
