Hi I have a nagging problem installing the apache-fp package on a FreeBSD 2.2.8-R machine running Apache-1.3.3. When installing the package and going through the root web installation parrt I get the following error: Do you want to install root web now? (y/n) Y . Installing root web on port 80 ... Installing server / on port 80 Will chown web to www as part of the install. Will chgrp web to www as part of the install. Starting install, port: 80. web: "" Enter users password: confirm password: Can not create directory ""/usr/local/www/data/public.html"_vti_pvt". ERROR: / Installation failed Hit Enter to continue ownership on the /usr/local/www/data/public.html is set to user www and has write permission to it What have I missed here There is a similar question in the mailing list archive but nobody answerd to it.
