What are people's experiences with the Promise line ? Are they still essentially done in software? Are they reliable ? Any others out there ? Basically looking for a low cost IDE RAID 1 bootable solution. The 3ware cards did the job for us really well on FreeBSD and Linux. Too bad they are dropping them. ---Mike -------------------------------------------------------------------- Mike Tancsa, tel +1 519 651 3400 Sentex Communications, mike@sentex.net Providing Internet since 1994 www.sentex.net Cambridge, Ontario Canada www.sentex.net/mike To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
