Hello,
Can anyone here help me out with samba? I have it installed and I
can map dirs from a win box. However I can not see any pc's from
neiborhood network. Keeps saying unable to browse network. Thats what I
cant understand. I don't have an nt network. Just 2 pc's and 1 FreeBSD
box.
Tried using both "pcguest" and "ftp" but that does not seem to do
much. Tried making FreeBSD box wins server and that did nothing. The
diagonse.txt file which i followed in /usr/local/share/doc/samba did not
come back with a noticable error. But then all the parts right after the
testparm smb.conf may have shown a person who really knows samba the
problem.
Here is what tesparm shows. Hope i can get some help with this.
Thank you for your time and effort.
lanny
