From: Rainer Duffner To: freebsd-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.org Cc: Subject: Re: kern/21932: 4.1.1-RELEASE : trap 12 during install Date: Fri, 13 Oct 2000 18:07:53 +0200 (MET DST) Hi, it works now. One has to _enable_ the integrated 7899s or else the kernel will panic. It then installs with no real problems (just ages before the FCAL times out - it's not connected). For NT, the controllers (or the channels, to be precise) have to be _disabled_, so this is where the problem really started. Still, I'm not sure if a trap 12 is the right behaviour in this case.... thanks, Rainer ----------------------------------------------------------------- This mail was sent through IMP http://webmail.fh-konstanz.de/imp/ (http://web.horde.org/imp/) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
