We discovered yesterday that adding the following routes, which are present in: /etc/rc.d/network_ipv6, but not active unless ipv6_enable="YES" is set fixed the issue:- route add -inet6 ::ffff:0.0.0.0 -prefixlen 96 ::1 -reject route add -inet6 ::0.0.0.0 -prefixlen 96 ::1 -reject I haven't confirmed but this is reported to be set by default on 9.x due to the changes in rc.d scripts.
