Bugzilla Automation <bugzilla@FreeBSD.org> has asked freebsd-gecko (Nobody) <gecko@FreeBSD.org> for maintainer-feedback: Bug 250781: www/firefox: not started without openh264 installed https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D250781 --- Description --- The latest firefox hangs on first launch if the openh264 is not installed. = This only happens for newly created users who have not yet created a profile in = the directory ~/.mozilla/firefox/. This happens with me and with the latest firefox-esr. If I install openh264 package, then the firefox or firefox-esr starts normally. I use latest packages on FreeBSD 12.1/12.2 with KDE Plasma= 5.
