Hi! I would recommend to fetch and install the binary package for texlive-texmf from http://pkg.freebsd.org. It's size is about 600 Mb vs. 1,8 Gb distfile size. BTW, I build editors/libreoffice with just GTK2 and CUPS options enabled and in that case it does not require print/texlive-texmf. regadrs, Dmitry.
