Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii X-Mailer: Mutt 0.88e X-Operating-System: FreeBSD 2.2.1-RELEASE i386 Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk I'm currently using 2.2.1 (soon 2.2.5) on a P150 with: - 64Mb RAM - 2 x 1.2 Gb IDE disks - Matrox II w/ 4Mb - swapsize = 196 Mb. There's about 75 processes running permanently on that box, including BloatWare like Netscape, and of course the X server is taking a bite at 32bpp (15Mb). Problem is, the memory usage is close to 187 Mb, though adding the figures in "ps -aux" for virtual and resident, I get: 88180 Mb 44148 Mb ... Is there a known memory leak in a) netscape 4.0 standalone (FreeBSD) b) XF86331 w/ Matrox c) 2.2.1 in general ? Thanks for any replies! -- -- Phil -[ Philippe Regnauld / sysadmin / regnauld@deepo.prosa.dk / +55.4N +11.3E ]-
