You need to make sure you're actually using the pkg_add from the pkg_instal= l=20 port - i.e., you have to run /usr/local/sbin/pkg_add - just typing pkg_add= =20 will still run /usr/sbin/pkg_add, which is the outdated version that ships= =20 with FreeBSD 4.7. Alternatively, you can=20 delete /usr/sbin/pkg_add, /usr/sbin/pkg_create, /usr/sbin/pkg_delete, /usr/= sbin/pkg_info=20 and /usr/sbin/pkg_version - this will leave only the new versions of those= =20 utilities in your path and you can run pkg_* again without any path=20 prepended. =2D-=20 ,_, | Michael Nottebrock | lofi@freebsd.org (/^ ^\) | FreeBSD - The Power to Serve | http://www.freebsd.org \u/ | K Desktop Environment on FreeBSD | http://freebsd.kde.org --nextPart1311776.YPYaD8Nbml Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBC0QzAXhc68WspdLARAk47AJ93al809wIV+5LA2yD0kw+JV/YnhwCggcXB od60aDT9Pgy6jLo1QgJZVnY= =vkM9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1311776.YPYaD8Nbml--
