Sorry, for the lack of details in my previous message.

I'm talking about aic(4) driver (Adaptec AIC-6260 and AIC-6360 SCSI
driver).
Under 4.3-Stable with the following line in the kernel config:

device          aic0    at isa?

the card isn't detected. It gives me the same result if i set port and
irq in the kernel config.
