I am a (src/doc) committer without time :-) But what's more important: the ports fury has the knowledge about the internals of EXTRACT_DEPENDS, while I have not. # Feel free to submit patches ! The point of submitting the PR in the first place was to get the right people involved to do the Right Thing. I know from experience that the ports system can be fragile.
