Linux reports the disk as b= eing "ATA-0" where zero is the major ATA version. And the new stack is missing this code: http://fxr.watson.org/fxr/source/dev/ata/ata-disk.c?v=3DFREEBSD-8-STABLE#L4= 42 and any support for CHS addressing.
