Noone will upgrade it for you. You should manually upgrade your /dev, /etc, etc... See http://www.nothing-going-on.demon.co.uk/FreeBSD/make-world/make-world.html, sections 'Update /etc' and 'Update /dev' for details. Even if you'd have your /dev up-to-date, you have no running 3.0 kernel yet, with CAM (da0) support. His upgrade is totally broken for 2.2.X systems. I hope he will either revert, or fix it ASAP.
