Did you have a look at the pedantic ppp primer at http://www.freebsd.org/tutorials/ppp/ppp.html or the handbook entry on ppp at http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/handbook.html? It's under the heading Network Communications. There are also examples on your machine in /etc/ppp Are you trying to install via ftp or have you already got FreeBSD installed?
