I haven't test it java extensively since I just finished > compiling java about 20 minutes ago 8) That makes sense, since my JDK1.1.2 compiled privately against Motif worked *great* for most things. It seemed to work as well as the Sun JDK under light testing. However, I wasn't able to replace the LessTif library with the Motif binary in the publically available binary release, so that's why I applaud dap's patch. This way I can compile up my own 'private' release that uses Motif, which I already know will work better. Nate
