 I'm also using an AcceleRAID 352 on FreeBSD 5.2-RELEASE, and I also have this problem.  The 
 problem lies in the swap device being active at time of reboot.  A workaround is to use swapoff to 
 turn off swap devices before a reboot.  I'm hoping that someone more knowledgeable than I will find 
 a fix for this.
