I'm experiencing some hangs with a 2.1.7.1 kernel installed over what
I believe to be a 2.1.5 userland (with a new sendmail).  Machine does
httpd, sendmail, shells, no nfs.  The symptoms are deadlock on inetd,
shells (remote) cease accepting commands but still print prompt (until
a command is issued) and pings are returned.  Nothing at all makes it
to console or messages.  Disks are IDE, 1 on each wdc0 and wdc1.
