If you wonder if anyone had a problem similar to yours search the archives (look at http://www.freebsd.org/search.html). 2. To help you with such a problem people will need to have as much information about your system as possible, which includes: - Your hardware (all you can tell about it). - The version of FreeBSD you're installing - The installation method (ftp, DOS, CD). - Anything else you think that's special about your setup. Post those things and see if you can get any helpful advice. Nadav
