My latest problem is that your boot manager gives me the following error: SYSTEM DOES NOT SUPPORT RESIDENT BASIC SYSTEM HALTED So now I am trying to use the boot disk and set it up so that it will boot from my SCSI drive. I have an ESDI drive partitioned as C: and D:, and a SCSI drive partitioned for FreeBSD and a SCSI CDROM drive. I have tried hd(1,a)/kernel (like the system said) and couldn't get it to boot. Please tell me how to either get the boot manager to work, or to create a boot disk that boots and loads the SCSI drive. I am using an Everex Step486/33 EISA system. FYI -- I am moving from LINUX to FreeBSD and the LILO from Linux gave me no problems. mg
