I'm thinking about using FreeBSD again, with the 12.0 release. One shortcoming I noted on previous releases was the lack of amdgpu support for cards such as my RX-480. Hopefully this has been fixed by now, since it would increase my enthusiasm (as it did for Linux when this support was available).
