            Bug ID: 196661
Summary: shell/fish: fish shell is not accepting any commands
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: brejoc@gmail.com

After installing (with pkg) and starting the fish shell, the only output is:
"fish:"

Although it is possible to type, no command is accepted and it is not possible
to exit the shell with `exit` or CTRL+d. I could reproduce this with FreeBSD
10.1 on a AMD64 and i386 installation.
